Wire Statuses - Lead | API Docs

Lead sets every wire status. The one status you influence is cancellation: POST /v2/wires/{wire_id}/cancel on an eligible outgoing wire moves it to cancel_pending. Incoming and outgoing wires have different lifecycles.

Incoming wires

Incoming Wire Status

`posted`	Funds have been credited to the account.
`rejected`	Incoming wire was rejected. See the `rejection` object for details.

Both are terminal. An incoming wire surfaces to you already in one of them.

Outgoing wires

posted, rejected and canceled are terminal.

Transitions

A wire reaches cancel_pending only from created, scheduled or under_review — the three statuses marked cancellable above. Once a wire is processing it cannot be canceled.

Status changes emit webhook events. The events, and what to do on each, are listed on Sending Wires for outgoing wires and Receiving & Returning Wires for incoming wires.
