# Sending an Internal Transfer

> Send an internal transfer between your Lead accounts: request requirements, statuses, and webhooks.

Create an Internal Transfer with `POST /v1/internal_transfer`. You will receive a 200 response and the transfer's status will be processing.

You cannot use an Internal Transfer to move funds between Account Numbers belonging to the **same Account** — such requests are rejected with `400 operation_not_allowed`. To move money between two of your accounts, the sender and receiver Account Numbers must belong to different Accounts.
